Here's how to draw a route in Play Designer Pro:

Click on the "Draw" button in the toolbar

Select the "Solid Route" line type

Hover over the player you would like to draw a route for

Click and drag to draw the route

Extend the route (optional)

Here's how to draw a block in Play Designer Pro:

Click on the "Draw" button in the toolbar

Select the "Solid Block" line type

Hover over the player you would like to draw a block for

Click and drag to draw the block

Extend the block (optional)

Here's how to draw motion in Play Designer Pro:

Click on the "Draw" button in the toolbar

Select the "Zigzag Line" line type

Hover over the player you would like to draw motion for

Click and drag to draw the motion

Add a route or block on the end of the motion (optional)

Here's how to edit a route, motion or line that you have already drawn:

Click on the "Edit" button in the toolbar

Click and drag the point you would like to move

Click anywhere on the canvas to deselect the line

The logic for player and line color in plays can get a little complex. Here's how it works:

If you set a position's color in the Positions or Formations tab, players with that same label will, by default, be the same color in all formations and plays.

You can override this at the play level. So on each play, you can set the color of the player or a line and it will override the position/formation level color setting.

If you draw a line from a player, the line will inherit the player's color unless you change the color of the line.

Here's how to adjust the color of lines and offensive players at the play level:

Click on the "Edit" button in the toolbar

Click on the line you would like to change the color of

Click the "Line Color" button

Pick a new color

Reset color (optional)

Here's how to change the line type of a line that you have already drawn:

Click on the "Edit" button in the toolbar

Click on the line you would like to change the color of

Choose a new line type from the toolbar

Extend the line (optional)

Here's how to erase a line that you have already drawn:

Click on the "Erase" button in the toolbar

Click on the line you would like to erase

Sometimes you just need to see how your play looks against a defense. Here's how to add a defense to your play:

Open the defense dropdown in the top right

Choose a defense to add

Remove defense (optional)

Here's how to move a defensive player:

Click on the "Edit Defense" button in the toolbar

Hover over the player you would like to move

Click and drag the player you would like to move

Here's how to adjust the color of defensive players:

Click on the "Edit Defense" button in the toolbar

Click on the player you would like to change the color of

Choose a new color from the toolbar
